Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. As a child, she was exposed to many classical music and old boleros. She also listened to traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos, as well as opera and dramatic performances. She started singing and studying music with her mother, then began more intense vocal training when she was 16 with renowned Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. Her musical education continued at the School of Music of the University of Guadalajara, and afterward to the School of Sacred Music in Toluca, Mexico. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and other cities as a young student and professional. Following her move into America, United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002, she made her way to southern California. She's a frequent solo performer at private parties and events singing classical Latin American Music. As a musician and teacher Ana is a dedicated participant in numerous community projects because of her love and love for music. Ana is also an ex-member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana feels privileged to have the opportunity to share with others her passion for the traditional Latin American music. She hopes to help younger generations preserve the traditions.
